Another 90° turn to the right and there is a skull-faced woman with see-through underwear on. This prop would be changed a few different times. After this, the track led outside to an overhang and where the exposed speed hill used to be before being redesigned to simply go back to the inside. Why was the speed hill and drop taken out of the ride? Bob Jr. explained that quite often various personal items would come loose during the drop down, resulting in them getting either jammed into the undercarriage or wrapped around the wheels, preventing the cars from going all the way up the incline.
“Cotton Candy Bags were the worst!”, explained Bob. Another long and dark corridor leads to another 90° turn and a descent into another classic Tracy stunt, the broken mine timbers! From the end of the timbers and turning left we now see, up close and personal, the Pond and Giant Skull! On the right is yet another creepy woman wearing no underwear. Turning left is yet another often-seen Tracy prop, The Giant Rat! The cars then encounter yet another set of crash doors with a “Stop Sign” on them.
