The
Ark remained unchanged until 1930 under park owner Leonard Thompson
who took the reins a year earlier with the passing his father-in-law
William G. Bean.
Thompson added more animal figures to the façade and commissioned
local artist Walter Bernasconi to retouch the original animals
and spruce up the structure. |
